For the purposes of the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December on personal data Protection, and in Law 34/2002 of 11 July of Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce (LSSI) and other applicable rules, by means of the present privacy policy, Residencias de Estudiantes, S.A. (hereinafter, RESA) hereby informs the users of this Website of its Policy for the Protection of personal data gathered from Users of this Website who are interested in formalising an accommodation booking. And so that these users may freely and voluntarily decide if they went to provide RESA with the Personal Data that may be asked to give for the use of the Website, and for the formalisation of the accommodation booking by means of a form and for its contracting.

2. PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION.
Any personal datum given us by the User as a consequence of the access to specific services of the present Website will be automatically incorporated onto an automated personal data file owned by each one of the entities by the name of SIRESA, and this will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy, as set forth in the present Website. RESA recommends the User to attentively read this Policy before giving his/ her personal data to RESA.
Each file is registered before the competent authorities, being inscribed inn the General Register of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. These entities will deal with the data confidentially and exclusively for the purpose of managing the relationship with the clients and promoting the activities carried out by each entity as well as offer the services requested by the Customer in the place booking form, upon consent expressed by the acceptance of these conditions of there forms.
In accordance with the legislation in force, these files are inscribed in the General Data Protection Register.
RESA hereby informs that the safety levels required by the Norms of Safety Measures approved by Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, in spite of which technical safety within the Internet medium is not impregnable and there still may be filtrations caused by premeditated actions on the part of third parties.
If the User wants to book accommodation at any of the residence halls or any other types of accommodation managed by RESA through the order of a SIRESA, he/she will have to fill in the booking form corresponding to the residence hall desired; with indication of, among other data, his/her name and surname, address, telephone number, electronic mail and other information considered to be necessary. This information for the booking will be used RESA for processing the booking and contacting the User so as to verify his/her data via mail and send an electronic confirmation of the booking application, as well as for managing the commercial and contractual relationship with the User. .
In this respect, the User will be compelled to guarantee that the personal Data provided are accurate and accept the obligation of conveying any modification to these data. In the event of the data being inaccurate, incomplete or no longer necessary for their purpose, RESA pledges to cancel, delete and/or block them, in accordance with the legislation of data protection.
We hereby remind you that the User will be entitled to revoke the consent given at any moment and exercise his/her rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition at the following address of RESA: c/ Roger de Llúria nº 118 1º, (08037) Barcelona, or if preferred, at the following electronic mail addresses: resa@resa.es, following the necessary legal conditions for this purpose, that is, with irrefutable evidence that the rights are being exercised by the holder of the data.
Likewise, consent by the User for the treatment and cession of his/her personal data will be revocable at any moment without any retroactive effect, in accordance with the stipulations of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on personal data protection.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE OF THE WEBSITE.
The function of the present Website is that of providing the user accessing the Website with the different services exposed on this page in the information therein contained.
The objective of the present document is for RESA to establish the conditions that regulate the access and general use of this Website for all users, so that its access and use will necessarily entail submitting to and accepting the present General Conditions of use, as well as, in the event of an accommodation booking service being contracting, the General Conditions that characterise the contracting of this service (hereinafter, General Clauses).
3.1. Access to the Website.
The User will have to be of legal age in accordance with Spanish legislation, and have the legal capacity needed or hiring the services offered in the present Website on his/her own accord. In the event of a minor hiring these services, the minor’s parents or tutors will be required to give their authorisation for him/her to be able to hire the service.

RESA consequently recommends the user to closely read the terms and conditions of use included by the owner of this website every time he/she accesses it.
Likewise, the accommodation booking service in residence halls and other services managed by RESA via the Website are regulated are ruled by the conditions of use the Privacy Policy is composed of and completed by.
3.2. The use of the Website.
Each one of the sections of this Website is ruled by a series of criteria that are expressly established in the page, or otherwise, in the present conditions of use of this Website.
Over and above the stipulations of the legal Warning and of the accessible privacy Policies that may be applicable in each moment, the use of certain cervices or applications addressed to RESA are dependent on having previously filled in the corresponding User register (Place booking form).
RESA hereby informs that in order to access certain contents offered by the present Website, such as the formalisation of an accommodation booking, the User will have to supply certain personal data when filling in any booking form, which extends to hiring any of the services offered in the present Website. These data will have to be accurate, authentic and up-to-date. RESA will give these data the automated treatment corresponding to its nature or purpose, and under the conditions and terms indicated in the present Privacy and Safety section.

User of the RESAA website www.resa.es are hereby informed that this site obtains the data of its customers and users via the booking form, the filling in of which is compulsory for the purposes of hiring the services offered by RESA in this page. Thus, the data at the disposal of RESA are those data provided at the time the booking is formalised and the contracting is carried out by the customers/Users.
RESA hereby informs that in order to access certain contents offered by the present Website, such as the formalisation of an accommodation booking, the User will have to supply certain personal data when filling in any booking form, which extends to hiring any of the services offered in the present Website. These data will have to be accurate, authentic and up-to-date. RESA will give these data the automated treatment corresponding to its nature or purpose, and under the conditions and terms indicated in the present Privacy and Safety section.
RESA may store and keep the data supplied in order to maintain the contractual relationship with the client/User.
The purposes of keeping personal data are indicated on each one of the pages where the booking form (of data registration) appears. In relation to the personal data obtained from the users registered, these will be sued for the purposes of adapting the products and services requested by the User to the preferences indicated in the form. On a general basis, the personal data supplied will be used to attend to your request for information and place booking application, as well as, subsequently, for the contracting with the Customer/User.
Consent for the conveyance of personal data by the Customer/User will be revocable at any time although this will not have retroactive effects.
4. SAFETY OF THE INFORMATION OBTAINED.
RESA pledges to treat the data confidentially and with the exclusive purpose of managing and formalising the accommodation booking requested by the User and putting into effect the corresponding contracting of the booking; including the commercial promotion of the services it offers, in the understanding that the formalisation and acceptance of the booking form, as well as of the General Conditions of the contracting (See Legal warning) entail the consent to carry out this treatment.
The hiring of the services offered by RESA on this page is carried out within a safe environment via the implementation of the data encrypting system SSL (Secure Sockets Layers), which guarantees the protection of communications via Internet with this page. The Customer/User may check that he/she is within a safe environment by observing the closed padlock at the bottom of the screen.
The User pledges to make licit and adequate use of this Website as well as of the services offered by RESA, in accordance with the present Legal Warning, and likewise pledges not to carry out activities contrary to law, morality and public order, and, generally speaking, to make good use of the present conditions.
In the event of any activity contrary to law being carried out, RESA reserves the right to cancel the bookings of any User or to deny access to the Website with no prior warning, and to exercise what legal actions are deemed convenient.

The present Website has been created in good faith by RESA with information from external and internal sources, despite which RESA cannot guarantee the exhaustiveness and accuracy of all the information it contains nor, in particular, a continuous access, availability and continuity of the functioning of this Website. Furthermore, RESA accepts no responsibility and offers no guarantee for access to the Website if the customer or user, intent on carrying out a specific activity, fails to observe the recommendations given for each particular case.
RESA accepts no responsibility for any damage caused in the event of there being interruptions of the service, delays, errors, malfunctionings of this service and, in general, other inconveniences whose causes lie outside the control of RESA and/or are due to force majeure causes; independently of the stipulations of article 1105 of the Civil Code, the concept of force majeure will be understood to encompass failures on the part of third parties, of operators, or of service companies, Government acts, a lack of access to the networks of third parties, actions or omissions by Public Authorities, problems resulting from natural phenomena, blackouts, …etc. and attacks by hackers or third parties that are specialised in the safety nor integrity of the computer system.

RESA will be able to use cookies during the offering of the service of the Website.
