The Tomás Alfaro Fournier Residence Hall lies within the Campus of Álava of the UPV/EHU, next to the following departments: Business Studies, Philology, Geography and History, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Education, Physical Activity and Sport Sciences and the schools of Engineering and Social Work.

How to get to the Tomás Alfaro Fournier Residence Hall?

1. By airplane: the airport of Vitoria-Gasteiz (Foronda) is 9 km from the city. Once in the airport, you can get to the city by bus or by taxi (Radio Taxi 945 27 35 00). If you choose to take your own vehicle, the airport has a free parking lot. To consult information on flights, you may refer to the telephone number 945 16 35 91 and the website http://www.via-vitoria-airport.com. If you arrive at the airport of Bilbao you may take the city bus (belonging to the Bizkaibus company), which will leave you at the central Bus Station, from where, in less than an hour, you can get to Vitoria-Gasteiz.

2. By bus: all buses stop at the station in Los Herrán St. Its telephone number is: 945 25 84 00 and the address is C/ Herrán, 50.
The bus lines close to the residence hall are Armentia-Errekaleor, Asteguieta-Errekaleor, Periférica and Circunvalación, which will take you anywhere in the city.

3. By train: in the website of Renfe: www.renfe.es you will find the timetables of the trains going to Vitoria-Gasteiz. The address of the station is C/ Eduardo Dato, 46.

4. By car: the highway joining Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbao is A-68. Once in the city, you must go to the university campus or inquire about the neighbourhood of San Cristóbal, which is in the southeast of the city:

If you take the Alavés football stadium known as “Mendizorrotza“ (which is approximately two km from the residence hall), you will have to go straight along St, Álava St until you reach the Pº de la Zumaquera. The residence hall is at No. 21A.
From Navarre or Guipúzcoa, when entering the municipality, take the ring road from Portal de Elorriaga, and go along Jacinto Benavente St, until you reach Pº de la Zumaquera.
