XLV Spanish Mathematics Olympics 2009

RESA favours the training and discovery of new talent, for which reason it will sponsor the 45th edition of the Mathematics Olympics organised by the “Càtedra Lluís Santaló d’Aplicacions de la Matemàtica” (Lluís Santaló Chair of Applied Mathematics) of the University of Girona, from the26th to the 28th March in Sant Feliu de Guixols (Girona).

The prime objective of these Olympics is that of encouraging the study of mathematics and the development of young talents within this Science, as well as promoting them and adding a recreational element to this discipline. Those people in the first six places will participate in the International Olympics, and the first four will also be at the Ibero-American Olympics.
