Facilities and services of the Residence Hall in Salamanca

Such is the case of the Colegio Mayor Hernán Cortés Residence Hall, where you will find numerous facilities and services conceived to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Living in this halls of residence is more than living in a room: it is a place for cohabitation and for sharing experiences that will enrich your life at university.

Facilities:

• TV and DVD rooms (equipped with Wii console)
• Gym
• Study areas
• Library/study room. May be used for exhibitions, celebrations, etc.
• General-purpose place for meetings, conversation and reading
• Games room
• Self-service launderette
• Personal mailbox
• Adapted rooms
• University canteen

Services:

• Vending service. Food and drink vending machines.
• Daily press. The residence hall is subscribed to the newspapers  La Gaceta regional de  Salamanca and  El País.
• Management and reception. There will always be somebody at reception to help you.
• Cleaning service in the common areas.
• Maintenance service. Call us and we shall solve this as soon as possible
• Caretaker services.
• Lending service. Irons, ironing boards, vacuum cleaners and board games. If you leave your ID at reception, we shall lend you these articles, you will not have to bring anything from home and it does not take up room space.
• Laptop computers lending service
• Wi- Fi Internet access in common areas.

Optional services: these are services that can be hired separately.
