The 'Colegio Mayor Hernán Cortés' Residence Hall is very near the centre of the city of Salamanca, in the vicinity of the old city wall and next to the Miguel de Unamuno Campus, where you will find: the Departments of Medicine, Pharmaceutical Science, Law, Biology, the University Colleges of Nursing, Physiotherapy, the Miguel de Unamuno University Pavilion, the Cancer Research Centre and the University Hospital Clinic, among other centres of the University.

How to get to the 'Colegio Mayor Hernán Cortés' R.H.?

1. By airplane: Salamanca has an airport with regular flights from Barcelona and to other regional destinations (Laguna air and Air Nostrum). Besides, the two closest airports are in Valladolid (100 km away) and in Madrid, Barajas Airport (220 km away).

2. By train and by bus (from other cities): Salamanca is well communicated with other cities by train and by bus. You may consult the timetables and routes at: www.renfe.es and www.auto-res.net

3. By car : there is road access from Portugal to Salamanca through the Vilar Formoso Frontier via road N 620. From Valladolid, one can take highway A62, and from Madrid, we have highway A6 and road N-501.

Once in Salamanca, ask for the Virgen de la Vega hospital; the  'Colegio Mayor Hernán Cortés' Residence Hall is placed opposite this one, in the Paseo San Vicente. Miguel de Unamuno Campus is also very near.
