The As Burgas Residential Complex is next to the As Lagoas University Campus, where you can find the Departments of History, Science, Law, Business Studies and Tourism, Educational Sciences, Technical Engineering and Computer Science.

How to get to the As Burgas Residential Complex?

1. By airplane: the nearest airport to Ourense is the airport of Peinador, which is 10 km from Vigo and approximately an hour’s drive from the city of Ourense (highway A2). One can also travel from Vigo to Ourense by train or by bus.

2. By bus: you will be informed about lines and timetables at the bus station of Ourense. Telephone: 988 216 027.

3. By train: you can check the timetables of the trains to Ourense at the RENFE website: www.renfe.es.

4. By car:

If you are driving from Vigo, you must take Highway A2 to Ourense.

If you are driving from Santiago de Compostela, you can take National Road 525 or highway AP-53.

If you ser driving from Lugo, you must take National Road 540 and drive for 80 km, then drive along National Road 525 for 9 km.

Finally, if you are driving from A Coruña, you may take AP-9 to Santiago and then drive all the way to Ourense following the previous indications.

Once you arrive at the city, you must follow all indications given to get to the As Lagoas University Campus.

Travelling around Ourense

The most practical, economic and ecological way to move around Ourense is on foot, for the residence hall is a mere 10 minutes away from the city centre. Bus 10, however, has a stop at the university campus close to the residence hall.
Another way of travelling within Ourense is by bicycle. The residence hall has a free parking lot. The city hall has created a free bicycle rental service with a stop at the entrance of the As Lagoas Campus.
