RESA: The most extensive network of residence halls in Spain

The RESA Group was founded in the year 1992 with the purpose of creating the first network of residence halls in Spain. Ever since the opening of the first residence hall in 1996, Francesc Giralt i Serrà, which is located in Terrassa (Barcelona), and in agreement with the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, the RESA Group has not ceased to grow until reaching its present number of 26 residence halls.

The trust shown by the universities we work with, by the students and by their families is what makes RESA what it is nowadays.
 The RESA concept
Our concept of a residence hall is based on offering our students comfortable and functional facilities with common and private spaces, security, independence and closeness to the university campus. In addition to the basic services, the students living in the residence halls of the  RESA Group can also hire other complementary services, such as room cleaning, weekly delivery and cleaning of sheets and towels, parking spaces, etc.

Thus, each student defines how he or she wants his or her stay at the residence hall to be like and adapts it to his or her needs.

RESA Housing - Accommodation in  Barcelona  flats
RESA also manages  the   RESA Housing Service, which specialises in the temporary accommodation in Barcelona, in rented flats, as well as rooms in shared flats and rooms in family houses. The  RESA Housing Service was created in the year 2002 to act as the booking head office of the University Centre of Barcelona (BCU), a body created by the Generalitat of Catalonia, the City Hall of Barcelona, all the universities in Barcelona and the Catalan Foundation for Research and Innovation.

RESA Group: we manage over 6,700 places

Our numbers speak for themselves: 6,700 places in 26 residence halls act as an endorsement for our trajectory and make us the leaders within the sector of Spanish university accommodation.

14 Spanish universities trust RESA

What is the secret of our success? Listening, knowing how to gauge the accommodation needs of each university, creating residential spaces that are adapted to each university campus and, it goes without saying, effectively managing them.
