There are still some places available
We are returning to Bilbao with a residence with 351 places that you will love for its design, features, and excellent location.
The charm of Bilbao needs hardly any introduction; the city embodies a natural combination of innovation and tradition. The Guggenheim Museum, renown around the world, the walks along the estuary and the bridges, spectacular beaches, not to mention its gastronomy (a major attraction…). If you have ever visited the Historic Quarters, always full of people and bars, you will know what we are talking about.
The San Mamés University Residence Hall was inaugurated last September. You will feel at home from day one in these air-conditioned designer studios equipped with a kitchen, a private bathroom, and Wi-Fi connection.
A stunning facility with communal areas where you can study and meet your new best friends: a dining room/cafeteria, study rooms, leisure rooms fitted with TVs, a fitness hall, and a terrace.
And the best part is that it has been designed so that you can live and study at your own pace. Enjoy the freedom of a residence open 24 hours a day, all year round.
Welcome to Bilbao
From the narrow streets of Bilbao's Old Quarter to Gran Vía and New Bilbao, there is a world steeped in history and legends to be discovered. It is a very lively city, packed with things to do and places to see.
Stroll along the Estuary, enjoy an adventure on-board a ship to Deusto Canal or take photographs of the marvellous view of Bilbao from the Artxanda lookout. Of course, don't forget to visit the famous Guggenheim Museum or eat pintxos with your friends in any bar in the centre.
Bilbao city is on the sea and has many well-rooted water sports such as surfing, sailing and even scuba diving. Whether or not you are a surfer, it is always interesting to feel the special atmosphere on some of the famous beaches in the area such as La Salvaje, La Central or Karraspio.
Furthermore, this Biscayan capital has a packed schedule of shows including music, theatre, dance and cinema festivals. All because... there is lots to discover in Bilbao!
Get the most out of the years you will spend in this magnificent city, filled with great opportunities for your academic and working future.
An unbeatable location
A short distance from the Bilbao School of Engineering (UPV/EHU) and Deusto University, the San Mamés University Residence Hall is also very well connected to the Leioa Campus of the UPV/EHU.
In one of the most cutting-edge areas of the capital of Vizcaya, the residence forms part of the Termibus Bilbao Complex, which will include a hotel, a shopping centre, and a gymnasium, in addition to the underground bus station.
