Welcome to Castelldefels (Barcelona)
Castelldefels is a city on the seaside with over 5 km of fine sandy beaches. It is located on the Garraf coast, between the Mediterranean sea, Garraf Natural Park and just a few minutes from Barcelona.
Castelldefels is well known as a Sports Tourism Destination of the Catalan Tourist Board, and therefore, is the ideal place to live if you are a sports lover. You can enjoy water sports in the tranquil waters of the Mediterranean, practice canoeing in the Olympic Channel or discover the best spots of Garraf Natural Park.
Although, don't forget it is also a great option for the more cosmopolitan visitor. Just a few minutes from Barcelona, Castelldefels offers you an extensive range of restaurants, leisure and shops, with a large commercial centre open every day of the year.

Pius Font i Quer Residence Hall is located in the Mediterranean Technology Park PMT in which we find the Baix Llobregat Campus of the UPC, a campus surrounded with nature and a lake, perfect for walking, reading and sports.
The Park is inside the metropolitan area of Barcelona at a very well connected location: beside the Olympic Channel, 10 minutes from the airport by car, 20 minutes from Barcelona by train and only a 10 minute walk from the beach.
